Our Accommodation at Bay Court
BAY COURT has 29 single bedrooms, all with flat screen colour television, central heating and a nurse call system. CD and DVD players are available for personal use.
Some of our larger rooms would be suitable as double rooms for a husband and wife, or partners to share. All floors may be reached by stairs or a passenger lift large enough to accommodate a wheelchair and an attendant. All rooms are fully furnished and residents are encouraged to bring with them small personal mementos such as photographs ornaments and pictures. It is sometimes possible to also bring small items of furniture. This is always subject to Matron's agreement and available space in the room.
We have modern wet rooms and a new spacious bathroom which will accommodate a hoist. These facilities mean that we can meet all the personal hygiene needs of our residents in light and pleasant surroundings.
Debbie Weston leads the catering team at Bay Court. All our food is prepared in our new kitchen, with attention paid to individual tastes and special diets. Meals can be served in our residents' rooms, in the lounge or in the dining area. On fine days, meals can be taken in the garden.
Breakfast comprises a choice of fruit juices, cereals and mueslis, fruits and yoghurts, and breads or toast with jams. Cooked breakfasts are prepared for those who wish.
We are always happy for family and friends to join their loved ones for lunch or supper.
